Lasagna

Serves: Makes 1 large Lasagna pan or 2 9”x13”

Ingredients:

2 pounds lasagna noodles
32 oz Crystal Cottage Cheese
64 oz marinara sauce
8 oz cream cheese
16 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
1 t salt
1⁄2 t black pepper
3 pound ground hamburger
2T olive oil
1 med onion, diced

Directions:

Bring 3 qt pot of water to boil. Boil Lasagna noodles until soft and cooked through or per manufacturer’s directions. Strain, set aside

Mixture A:

In sauté pan add olive oil and onions, sauté until clear. Add hamburger, salt, and pepper. Cool hamburger mixture.

Mix Marinara sauce and cooled hamburger mixture, set aside.

Mixture B:

Stir cottage cheese and cream cheese until combined. Spread 1⁄2 cup of mixture A in pan.

Layer ingredients in Lasagna Pan:

1 layer of noodles, slightly over lap at edges
Layer of 1/3 of mixture B
1/3 of Mozzarella cheese
1/3 of Mixture A
Repeat layering twice
Sprinkle top with cheddar cheese

Bake at 350 for 60 minutes or wrap and freeze.
